LEMON

The lemon tree originated in Asia (most likely India), but is now cultivated in Japan, Italy, Spain, Australia, southern France, and California. This evergreen tress grows up to 30 ft in height, has oval leaves stiff thorns, and fragrant flower, and can produce up to 1,500 lemons per year. About 3,000 lemons are necessary to produce 2.2. lbs (1 kg) of essential oil! A member of the family Ruaceae, the essential oil is cold - expressed from the peel of the fruit. This is accomplished by compressing the peel with more time consuming than steam distillation, but oil constituents can be lost or altered in the steam distilling of citrus oils.

lemon's crisp, fresh, clean scent makes it popular addition to household and commercial cleansers. one of the first therapeutic used of lemons as in 169. Classified as a digestive blood cleanser, and breath sweetener, they reached their therapeutic zenith when prescribed by the British navy as a cure for scurvy (nicknamed "limey") . Western Europe imports the most oil at 740 tons per year.

One of the earliest, most and best-used antiseptics, lemon oil is also antiviral, anti-bacterial, antioxidant and preservative. it has been reported to strengthen nails and may be useful as an antidepressant. According to Jean Valnet, MD lemon is bactericidal and helps activate the white corpuscles of our immune system. It can serve as an inspect repellant and be beneficial for the skin.

After applying citrus oils, avoid exposure to direct sunlight or UV rays.

"The Paved Highway of Belief through touch and sight leads straightest into the human heart and the precints of the mind."- Lucretius

As long as the spirit is strong, the body will follow for the body is forever the slave of your mind and can be willed to achieve great feats.

A strong positive mental attitude will create more miracles than any wonder drug.
