- Various kinds of aromatic extracts from plants have been utilized for
their health giving properties long before humans were around. Animals and
insects can be powerfully affected by the smells from plants.

Q. What are the adverse effects of the use of
essential oils?
- Some adverse effects are skin reactions rather than toxicological
effects. Adverse skin reactions should not be underrated. You need to acquire
information on the oils before using. Toxicity occurs if one swallows the
essential oils

oil?
- Administer milk, honey, or another safe oil soluble liquid.

a dietary supplement. Some oils like lemon, grapefruit, orange, and
tangerine are more effective taken orally.
Q. Can I use Essential Oils in Cooking?
- Many essential oils make excellent food flavorings. Only 1-2 drops of
essential oil may be equivalent to a full bottle of dried herbs. To maximize
their benefits, dilute as needed and add them after cooking.
Q. Can I use Essential Oils in Cleaning?
- A few drops of oil may be added to the dishwater, the washing machine, or
the dishwasher disinfect and purify. Favorites are lemon, peppermint,
Melrose, and Purification.
