Brenda Marcial, Certified Reflexologist and Reiki II Practitioner
"My Mission is to Bring out the Joy in Every Touch." Brenda Marcial is a graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC. She is a member of the International Reflexology Association and has been trained in the Ingham Method which is the benchmark of all Reflexology practice. She is also a Reiki II practitioner and incorporates Reiki in her Reflexology sessions. Miss Marcial was born in the Philippines where she experienced alternative therapies in her youth from her grandmother. As a teen her family moved to Madrid, Spain where she was raised and educated. She moved to the United States in the mid 80's as a young bride. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cabrini College, and a Masters of Science degree in Marketing from Johns Hopkins University. Brenda is the daughter of well-known financial business writer, Gene G. Marcial, who writes a weekly column for Business Week, "Inside Wall Street" and is the author of "Secrets of the Street and "The 7 Commandments of Investment." Brenda also holds a 2nd degree black belt in karate (Tang Soo Do), and is a kickboxer. Her other interests are belly dancing, downhill skiing, beading, and salsa dancing. She resides in Maryland with her daughter Sarah and her dog, Cosmo. After many years working in corporate America, Brenda has decided to work independently as a Certified Reflexologist. "I want to give back to the community that has been very generous to me by helping people reach a state of relaxation and experience a peaceful existence through reflexology."
